Bloom ingot is one of steel ingots that has a width of more than 15 cm and across sections of more than 230 cm2. The main consumption of the bloom ingots is for making rails, shields, studs, cans, beams etc. When pure steel is obtained from the raw materials, it is led to bloom or bloom ingot molds. Bloom ingots are produced in different sizes depending on the manufacturer. After solidification, these ingots are moved through the cooling stage and are sent to steel mills. There, the ingots enter the rolling line and get deformed.
